Training Knowledge Requirements

You should know your FTP and Heart Rate Zones before registering.  FTP stands for functional  threshold of power. This is the maximum watts you can put out over a 1 hour time trial.  There are a number of ways to test FTP without doing the full one hour test. Here is a link to some Google results that describe how.

You also should know what your Heart Rate Zones are before registering. Here is a link to Google results that will help you if you don't know your Heart Rate Zones already.
